The San Jose Rock n Roll Half Marathon is on September 22, 2015, so training continues. Yesterday, the hottest day of the year (104 degrees), I ran 3.41 miles as part of our training. The route is what I call the abbreviated West route–out of Cypress Crossing via the Old South cul-de-sac, north on Ridge to Glen Oaks, left at Glen Oaks and west on Glen Oaks until I hit 1.5 miles, and retracing back to Cypress Crossing via the back entrance, back to the start:

S remains sidelined by nagging Achilles issue. Overall last week, according to the Garmin Forerunner 210, M ran 16.38 miles last week: Sat (Melon Dash) 3.1 miles, Sun (cross), Mon 3.12 miles, Tues (cross), Wed 4.1 miles, Thurs 2.65 miles, Fri (rest) and Sat 3.41 miles.
