The coach is back at McClain’s for the completion of round 1 of the warranty work (replace Jensen TV and add missing shower ring). While it is there, I am having the generator oil replaced (the early, break-in oil replacement at 20-50 hours). I have also asked them to look at the window screens with the poorly designed couplers (may need to replace a couple already), the window panel gap on the rear left hand side and the rear A/C vent lock issue. So far, no complaints with the customer service at McClain’s, although the process of getting the license plates is a bit slow (maybe more of a tax office issue). I would recommend McClain’s if you are in the market for an RV. On balance, if you are in the market for a Class B and are price concious, I do recommend the ERA 70X, notwithstanding the minor issues documented in this blog. Hopefully, Winnebago is reading and can adjust their assembly line/vendors’ mindset, to fix the annoying little quality issues I’ve identified.
